Es bien sabido que los Beatles en sus inicios tuvieron un largo e intenso proceso de promoción a través de clubes y emisoras de radio; aquí hay que mencionar el trabajo que hicieron a través de la BBC, que en los años sesenta cambió radicalmente su formato para adaptarlo a los gustos de una generación que en el período de la post guerra buscaba desesperadamente una identidad.
Esta recopilación, publicada apenas en 1994 recoge una gran cantidad de temas grabados entre 1963 y 1965 e incluye versiones y canciones inéditas, además de extractos de entrevistas que muestran la irreverencia que siempre mostró el cuarteto de Liverpool ante los medios.
Un disco doble especial para coleccionistas que recoge un poco la experiencia de un grupo que fue acercándose poco a poco a la fama y a la consagración definitiva.
